About Me

I am a graduate student in the physics program at UCSD. I currently work on biomechanics of invertebrates - planarians and Hydra - using a combination of theoretical and experimental tools. I am broadly interested in complex biological systems where non-linear coupling, either across scales or between system components, leads to new emergent behavior. I am also interested in teaching and mentoring - I've TA'd several undergraduate and graduate courses at UCSD. For the past year, I've also been working as a peer writing consultant at UCSD's Writing Hub, providining one-on-one consultations to graduate students across a variety of writing projects across all stages of the writing process.
